It starts!

"Better to die with memories than dreams"
So, here we are, that's Heather on the left and Shane on the right. The houses are sold the resignations are in, well they will be soon and the planned departure date is mid March. Oh and what's the plan...........well.........we are going to buy a boat, about 40-44 ft and set off around the world, westwards. Leaving from either New Zealand, our home town, or Australia, from there up to Indonesia, Thailand and eventually get to Santorini in the Mediteranian for Heather's 50th, which is needless to say some considerable time away, well, years anyway. So, stay tuned, check in for a peek occasionally and see how we get on!

Heather,

sorry couldn't get the book to you before you left as I was out of town all week. Email me at moleary@xtra.co.nz and I will mail it to your current Aussie address. We cant have Shane with no reading, he may start thinking of other things

OK Shane, even tho' you didn't say goodbye to me before leaving the casino, I still wish both you and Heather well in your BIG adventure and one way of getting cash easily is to have a plus account on your Visa card which not only gets you interest but enables you to draw cash out in any country in the currency of the country. I did that all thru Scandanavia and never had to carry too much cash in my pocket and was also able to draw in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish currency as needed. Oh also in US$ when I passed thru the states. So stick some of that super into the positive side of your Visa card and stop worrying about cash in different countries!
Cheers and beers to you both!
